God Is Not in Danger of Losing Any of His Happiness
I think to me at the, at the end of the day, that's what divine impassibility is about. It's that God is perfect goodness and he is his own perfect beatitude. And that cannot be threatened in any way. The concern that God needs to suffer in the modern sense, experience pain in order to be authentically concerned about us or something really wanes in its efficacy when you just think about the timeline of heaven.
