Scepticism is quite certain of itself, in the sense that for descartesthe scepticis is methodological. And there's an integrity to that that you don't get in typical scepticism which lapses into what he'll call self certainty later on in the book. I would like us to keep pushing forward, but steat, we should just talk a little bit about the notion. Hegel himself directly makes these comparisons ism speculation. The notion is sort of like the developmental plan. It's the plan of development towards which knowledge is tending.
