Asking Better Questions of the Bible
I think we keep pulling the Bible to try to meet us on our own terms. And I think the conversation we'll have today as a perfect example of where we do that in such damaging ways rather than meeting the text on its terms. So yeah, the book's called asking better questions of the Bible. It doesn't capsulate why we why I felt like the book is one of many voices that could enter the conversation because there are better questions we could be asking about the Bible.
