Hitchcock's Pranks

Hitchcock's usual targets were people he worked with and thus could not really do anything about it if they'd wanted to. He often spent tremendous amounts of money just to screw with people. For one Christmas he bought the entire crew of the movie enormous pieces of furniture. But beforehand he went to the effort of checking out each of their homes individually to make sure none of them lived in houses that would fit the gifts he was buying.
