Ethereum's Name Service

A lot of DNS is actually off chain. Like when you go to MetaMask and type in Leonidas.eve, I mean, there is nothing on chain about that. There's basically just a JavaScript. package that they just import to their app - it gives them a few functions to just normalize and then resolve these names. But that's all off chain. You could easily build a package that does the same thing for every single Sats name. And I would be totally comfortable saying that ENS is also really silly.
