The papacy reasserted its absolute and ultimate authority, and has continued to do so ever since then. The council of Nicaea also passed canons as well as its creed. Most people do not realize that the one man who stood for the council of Nicaeas during the Aryan ascendancy was Athanasius of Alexandria. He signed the Serm, the Aryanized Sermium Creed.
