The court also received over a thousand letters from the public demanding that he be sentenced to life and resume. The judge Goodman, who I love, told him, the acts which you committed in this case are by far the most atrocious that I have ever experienced in my 17 years as a judge. He then went on to scold the jury. Robert appealed to his conviction in 1993 thinking that that was really going to move anybody. It didn't. Instead it was on the grounds that the evidence was mishandled because he knows how to do that. And now he maintained his innocence until his case came up for consideration by the parole board in 2013 and he finally confessed to the murder.
