The whole idea behind getting things done is that you have a system to capture literally anything that crosses your mind, any ideas. The idea is to get it out of your head into your system. And for me, i'v found this extremely helpful, because my brain is constantly scattered with, oh, whow, i should build a barbacue. My brain is just always, boot, constantly going in a thousand different directions. It's really great to have a system where i can just look at the next thing that needs to be done and just go do that thing. I spend a lot of time moving things up and down in terms of which order i would like to tackle them
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk through what they do to get things done - apps for to do list tracking, calendar blocking, and how they determine a productive day.
