Yashua Benjio, Jeffrey Hinton and Jan LeCun all won the 2018 Turing Award for their work on AI. In a recent interview with The Financial Times, Benjio pointed to the arms race in big tech companies as the key culprit in why things have gotten so much more dangerous.
