India-Pakistan War - Is India a Superpower?

The Chinese have lost all control of Pakistan, that's to be understood. So the question is about India-Pakistan, will India-Pakistan war? Because the US would want to hamper India's rapid growth. The US certainly sees India as a long-term adversary. It's a potential superpower. Let's not delude ourselves. Lots of Indians keep asking me when will India become a superpower?
