What Is the Nature of Christ?

Arian view that jesus was created by god and therefore was subordinate to god. This arian view was largely stamped out within the empire, but survived amongst the germanic peoples that invaded in the fifth century. The exact nature of christ continued to be a hotbutton issue. And so passionate feelings were being aroused each decade over a new, seemingly hair splitting point of theology. It is also worth remembering that none of these positions were as fixed or as easy to summarize as historians can make them sound.
