i think there's something mysterious in it as well, that the mystery of those questions. You know, flannery o'connor talked about a religious person who was beyond catholicism. In one of her letters,. she says, the task of the novelist is to deepen mystery. And then she pauses, and she said, but mystery is a great embarrassment to the modern mind. Then we have to resolve all mystery. We can't let it be. We can’t rejoice in it. We can not celebrate it. Because, after all, mystery is an aspect of our lies.
