Chelsea Finn is an assistant professor at Stanford University. Her research focuses on the capability of robots and other agents to develop broadly intelligent behavior through learning and interaction. We discussed machine learning for robotics, focusing on learning to learn or meta-learning; her work on the mammal algorithm during her PhD. Finally, we talk about the many exciting challenges that remain and where she sees the field going next.
