Vote Youngkin Again

I voted for Glenn youngkin and I primarily vote Democratic in most cases, but in this situation there was no way I could go with the policies of the Democrats. Here in Virginia, the previous administration, Northam were not handling things well. Do you all think there are larger lessons Democrats can learn from these kinds of voters ahead of the 2022 midterms? Or was this just an off-year election about these specific candidates and this state's specific issues?
