The rise of i technology is so destructive it may be an existential risk to a lot of companies. Incumbents can either transform using a i, or they can watch some one else eat their lunch. I don't think it is a a scarry bet for most executives to place of motes investment yenai. In fact, for a lot of industries, it be pretty stupid for an executive to ignore what maybe an existential crisis for their company.
