If you've come off a spring race, there may be a thought process or temptation to think that you can continue to build your training linearly from the peak. So it's important to note that this is not a linear process. You're going to detrain and that's okay. It's actually better. It helps your body actually build to a higher place later. And I'll talk about the speed that I want you to do in order to prime the system for the work to come.
