When I was in middle and high school they started with the whole like smart board thing it's like a big controversy. The current Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona wants to get rid of standard ice tests that measure where students are at for the year. There is also something called social emotional learning and when you mention the headband  that's a company called Braco. These algorithms could be used to replace standardized tests or even just aggregate all the algorithms together, says David Frum. He thinks this kind of stuff sort of can seem kind of innocent at first but we need to see the big picture.
