The Fundamental Confession of the New Testament Church
The New Testament writers call Jesus Lord karyos, and then they apply to him Old Testament passages about Yahweh. So Lord or karyos translates the name of God in the Old Testament, Yah weh. Paul says everyone who confesses that Jesus is Lord will be saved. And this was the most important confession in the New Testament church.
