I think that the perfect sentence to say to this person is to just start dirty. Just get the reps, join online communities where your potential customers can be so you can learn about them and then build anything for them. I remember having Zumko just trying to teach to show people how to do things in Noshan, but this way I was able to understand what they need. And once you have enough calls, you will be able to see patterns of things that normally people need. It doesn't matter really what you do in the beginning, because that is not going to shows what you're going to end up doing in the future. YouTube is an amazing learning experience in the beginning
