The Three Status Games of Human Life

The three status games of human life were played ten thousand years ago. One is with virtue, by being a morally good person who sticks to the rules. There's also success, base status, this competence, which is being a great honey finder or story teller. We still play all three games now, but there's been a huge change in emphasis. The world from the eighties onwards, it was success, success, success. Everybody wants to get rich. And you see this reversion into the virtue games - and that's how i see history.
