Gray: I had moved to austin, texas at the end of t 19 with the intention of making the olympic team and then very possibly just moving on from trackand field after accomplishing that. After i made the team, and with a time like that, yes, suddenly i decided, ok, well, now i can actually go for a gold medal. It was such a rapid shift, and a so rapid and huge, and i just felt it so wholly. Now im focusing on rural championshipshis next year, and then rural championships again. And thend, the olymphics.
Gabby Thomas became the second-fastest woman ever when she ran the 200m in 21.61 seconds at the 2021 US Olympic Team Trials. She then won two medals at the Tokyo Olympics.
