Is the CPM Scalable?

In terms of applying this in practice, does one have to work with a certain class of machine learning models, or is this a generalized framework? I think it's very generalized. A c p m currently only takes a univaria data. Univaria isgot continuous data. So as long as your algaritm can output some kind of metric that you want to track, then i think that it works fine.
