The Positive Effects of the Pandemic on the Workplace
The gig economy and the pool of cheap labor gave rise to all sorts of stuff that I think was a little bit of an anomaly, right? It didn't feel like the day to day rhythms of life or work life or the patterns of the world were radically altered pre and post the pandemic. And actually, that's one of the huge differences. Right now we have incredibly low unemployment. We have seen labor have much more power than at any point in my lifetime. People took advantage of the pandemic to quit the jobs they hated.
