Is a Single Leg Squat the Best Thing for Quad Hypertrophy?

Quads: You always want to be including a single leg squatting variation, lunging variation, step up variation. For single leg stuff, unilateral stuff, I also like sled work. If you're concerned about knee health, rehabbing the knees, bulletproofing the knees, sled work is fantastic. Squats: A pendulum squat is the best thing for quad hypertrophy. But I wouldn't exclusively do those unless you're just so banged up that you can't do any kind of free squatting.
