The Struggles of a PhD Student in the US

Gonna: I kind of want to talk about this idea of professional or academic identities. Would you like to speak maybe a little bit about being a Americanist who's working in a transnational space? Gonna: Yeah, thanks, Gonna. In a first draft of this piece, I think that's what I had actually titled the essay. And so it's really gratifying to me that sort of piece of it sort of jumped out at you.
