PTSD - Is There a Trigger Warning?
There's an idea that if you experience a traumatic event, you're likely to repress it. You often hear that I experienced something that triggered my PTSD. But then it starts becoming like I was rejected by my partner and that triggered me because of my unhappy childhood. It has them concept creep into something which becomes all the pathways to psychopathology can be seen in this model. There might be something to do that. What about people, soldiers particularly, who they might hear some sort of loud noise and it might remind them of intense noise? That is definitely a real phenomenon.
