The Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist

maple syrup is high on the list of things considered to be super Canadian. The main habitat where sugar maple trees can be found is called the maple belt which stretches through Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. More than 70% of the world's maple syrup is produced in Canada with more than 90% coming from province of Quebec. In Quebec maple syrup season could be considered as much of a cultural phenomenon in spring as pumpkin picking is in the fall.
