Metal and Souls in the Cognitive Realm

There's something spiritual about metals. Oror witthea aa flame, i still says that they look like little candles, sort of like floating in the air for all the people around her. Incredibly interesting. Who would have ever thought metals and the souls both glow in his experience of the cognitive realm? I'm not a hundred % sure why that is, but it does give us a hint that medal, at least on scadril, is somehow also connected with the spiritual realm.
