The Importance of Respecting Yourself

I think it's easier to have the mindset that you're talking about when it's all your homies. What about when you're competing against people you don't know at all? I want them to be in bed with their girlfriend and get soft because they're thinking about what I did to them on the court. The last game I played was against the Brazilian national team right before the Pan Am games. And you really start to build a respect for great competition. You go into it saying like, we're going to destroy these guys... But at the end of the day, the way we get better is by being against better competition.
