Saskov can infect a lot of animals, from minx to cats to tigers. It really can survive in a lot of different species. What we haven't seen is circulation of the virus in a wild population. This would be a reservoir that could to potential future spill over events. But with other viruses that have a reservoir in animals, it can be really difficult to eradicate or eliminate those viruses.
