The financial crisis led to a huge drop in print media revenue. The iphone went vertical, just as primedia went horizontal. Investers didn't wanto investin it. It was all about building the platform that got other people to put the content on. And we kind of forget, by the way, how new this hole tec thing is. You know, many, many regimes, many eras, maintained that degree of incongruity for a long time. That's an unstable equilibrium.
