Getting Out of the Bed Depressed
In this journaling, what you'ud be doing is identifying these thoughts and looking at the pros and cons of them. The hope is that it'll provide that spark of motivation to go to the next step. A sitting up in bed would then become, swing my legs around and set them on the ground. And if that was a success, the next step would be stand up. When we're depressed, get out of bed, that's a multi step project.
