Ukraine - What's 2022 All About?
If Ukraine had lost, if Zelensky had folded, it would look a lot more like what we saw after 2014 than what we see this year. It's precisely because Zelensky stood up for his people that you got the Americans and American allies to rally behind Ukraine. And sanctions against Russia would be considerably more limited than they are today. Even a former comedian who was on dancing with the stars running a country that wasn't particularly well-governed has probably been the most important international story on the global stage.
