The Role of Perception in Object-Oriented UX
Objects are not actually mentioned at all in any of those definitions. The psychology and cognitive science of perception is so central to object-oriented UX. So shapeshifters being the same object looking different in different contexts for no good reason, totally arbitrary changes. If an object is changing a lot, it's becoming it's going to add cognitive load. It's going to be harder to recognize that thing.
