"I'm very proud of what we accomplished at home depot over the eight years. In two thousand seven we had a market capitalization around 50 billion dollars," he says. "In eight years, we paid back to our shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, around 50billion dollars." He adds that these are principles, and principles are transferable.
