How to Write a Sample Essay in a Classroom?
Students will naturally start analyzing each sentence. They're going to note transitions and whether or not a sentence is a quote from the text as they determine what order to put the sentences in. Students love that activity, so I highly encourage you to try it out. The first time you do it a full essay does not work. But with seventh and eighth graders, 100% like I was able to give my students. It's all about our perspective.
