There are so many more things that people can do on a smartphone because it's with them and in their pocket. The fact that it can't outperform the mainframe on the old basis of performance doesn't matter anymore. There's so much functionality that goes far beyond that everyone who was locked in the PC paradigm could only imagine it as a small PC when in reality it is and should be you know so much more.
