Lynn Goldsmith sued the Andy Warhol Foundation for copyright infringement. Her photo of Prince was used on Vanity Fair's cover in 1984. The magazine wanted to use a silk screen that Warhol had done, but he died before they could get his permission. Lyn Goldsmith says she didn't license it and is now seeking a declaratory judgment lawsuit.
