The 86% Failure Rate of Drugs
There's a tremendous number of drugs that pharmaceutical companies research that never see the light of day because they're simply ineffective. The company doesn't know ahead of time which ones will be effective and which ones won't. At best, we're looking at 14% success rate, which recast is an 86% failure rate.
