Is the Academic Freedom Bill a Good Idea?

The academic freedom bill is about protecting universities having a duty to protect and promote academic freedom they can be fined if they aren't in compliance. But what I think is also necessary and isn't in the academic freedom bill would be compulsory political neutrality of anyone who is acting in an official capacity. If you want to do race and gender equity diversity and inclusion you've got to match exactly the same level of equity diversity andclusion on politics and ideology so all the monitoring and tracking that you do on race and gender you'vegot to do on ideology and voting.
