What Is Grooming?
John Sutter: Grooming is a word that has a really specific meaning in the world of sex abuse. He says it's being used as a blanket slur against any one who opposes an extremely poorly written, overbroad am law. The term 'grooming' was coined by conservative columnist Uma Urry to refer to people who were grooming their opponents for political gain. But he says there are real warning signs about this kind of behaviour and should be taken seriously.
