The Science Goals of the James Web Space Telescope
Life is determined not just the fact that oxygen is in the atmosphere, but other things like methane. The James web space telescope will open up new windows on the universe to look at the first structures that ever formed and atmospheres of planets. In six months or so, when the jada telescope starts taking data, our picture of the universe will change dramatically. And maybe a year from now, i'll be able to talk about some new discoveries about the nature of the universe, dark matter and life.
