How to Increase Aerobic Fitness in Cycling
There is a time and a place for tempo, but those should be your intense sessions. Don't go and turn these zone two rides into tempo rides because you don't have enough time. It just depends on the time of year or your goals, your strengths and weaknesses. The big thing that I did in Colorado was hill climbs, which is basically you go uphill for an hour or two hours as fast as you can. And so for me mentally, it was a lot of a mental thing.
