Episode CLXXXVI - Proscriptions
Emperors of Rome
He This Is Audo Cannibalism
This story is very neat. It is the wife of cicero's brother coming up with an inventive punishment for the man who killed these stories have this almost doubled quality that also plays into a sort of plutarchic masogony. Everything here is coming down to these mean, powerful, sedistic, cruel women. I sort of don't trust it. What i do think is that this story speaks to some tendencies in how romans thought about prescriptions way that romans made sense of the prescriptions.
