John Humphrey Noise's Lifelong Journey

In 1834, John Humphrey Noise found an answer to his lifelong sense of insecurity. He had a religious conversion and came up with his own design for his life; he decided that he was perfect. It was a way for him to deal with the world because nobody could judge him if he was perfect: Nobody would have anything bad to say about him. In 1834, he started a monthly newspaper called The Perfectionist - it had more than 500 subscribers.
