Solomon Built Many Cities in the Land of His Dominions
Solomon rebuilt the cities which Huram had given to him and settled the sons of Israel in them. He built Tadmore in the wilderness, Upper Beth-Haran and Lower Beth- Haran, fortified cities with walls, gates and bars. Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her. The people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Parazites, the Hivites and the Jebusites are still called 'forced levy' today.
