Laser Hair Removal and Laser Epilation
Laser hair removal, laser hair reduction, laser epilation as it's called. If you have the right wavelength of laser at the right energy density, say around 50 jewels per centimeter squared, sometimes more. Then what happens is the hair follicle being darker than the surrounding skin, soaks up the light. You get a very thermal photo-thermalysis effect. It fries the follicle and then not the tissues around it. Just the follicle because it's a dark hair. We're using selective destruction in that case. Works amazingly well.
