Are We Going to Have a Recession?
The US has a large strategic petroleum reserve, which maintains a stock pile of gasoline. The reserves can then be released into the market when there is one of these supply shocks. I think that they've certainly been very well prepared for this, and they're reaping the reward of it,. Other countries are paying the price for not being ready for it.
