In some ways, this is really the pirate bay all over again. Grimes said that anyone can use her voice for AI generated songs as long as they give her 50% of the profit and she has even launched an open source software with a very pronounceable name called elf tech which is solely dedicated to replicating her voice. There are two reactions when it comes to data and generative AI systems, there are basically two reactions. The one is, well, no, you cannot use our data because of privacy because of security because of copyrights.
