The Great Migration

Every four days somewhere in the american south, some one was lynched for some perceived breach of that cast system. And so this was what they were fleeing. I often say that this migration was not about graphy. It was about freedom and how far people are willing to achieve it. They became, in some ways, like political refugees within their own country.
